About MMAPS

MMAPS was established in 1993 and provides asset maintenance management, construction management, maintenance engineering and maintenance supply chain services to continuous process industries across New Zealand's petrochemical, gas, energy, refrigeration, dairy and port sectors.

MMAPS clients have included Northland Dairy, Davy John Brown, Natural Gas Corporation, Swift Energy, Transfield Worley, Fonterra, Excel Refrigeration, Technip, Tenix, Hellman Worldwide Logistics, Origin Energy, Port Taranaki, Methanex and New Zealand Corrosion Services. MMAPS principal, Hugh Garrod, has extensive maintenance, construction and regulatory experience in senior management roles, both before and after MMAPS' formation. Examples include Chief Engineer for a dairy company, Maintenance Manager for a major petrochemical and gas complex, Senior Field Engineer for an international EPCM contractor on a major, fast-track petrochemical project, and Regulatory Coordinator for an international EPCM contractor on a major oil and gas project with both on-shore and off-shore elements. MMAPS offers timely, remote-local support services at reasonable rates to augment clients' in-house resources in optimising asset life cycle performance, reliability and operating costs, as well as process plant construction management support services.
